Mission-driven motivation and incentives in public sector

We want to study if organizations can motivate workers through mission, and how does mission and financial incentives work together. From a previous experiment we find that providing both types of incentives causes financial incentives to become less effective. In this project, we propose to replicate the findings and explore the mechanisms behind “crowding-out” when both mission and financial incentives are provided.
