Fernando Hoces de la Guardia, post-doc at BITSS, facilitated a panel on Open Policy Analysis at this year’s Annual Meeting at the Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences (BITSS). The panel featured Hilary Hoynes, from the Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley, Kevin Perese, from the Congressional Budget Office, Matt Jensen, from the Open Source Policy Center at the American Enterprise Institute, and Josh Rosenberg, from GiveWell.
BITSS held its seventh Annual Meeting on December 10, 2018 at the David Brower Center in Berkeley, California. The event brought together leaders from academia, scholarly publishing, and policy to share knowledge and discuss the evolving movement toward research transparency and efforts to strengthen the standards of openness and integrity in the social sciences.
