Workshop on Impact Assessment in Public Health

This three day workshop included an introduction to the theory and the basics of impact assessment (experimental design, basic statistics, causal inference) as well as analysis of experiments (randomization, differences in different, discontinuity of the regression, the matching score propensity) as applied to public health interventions.

Participants

There were 47 participants in the workshop from 5 countries (Nicaragua, Panama, El Salvador, Guatemala and Mexico). Participants included coordinators and program managers, officers from MINSA departments (Planning, Health Services, Information and ICT), coordinators and directors of public health NGOs, and instructors from several local universities in the area of public health.
