California Housing and Homelessness in a post-COVID Economy: Lessons from Research and Practice

Opportunity Lab Conference   |   Mar 12 2021

As we transition into the new administration and begin planning for a post-COVID economy, California and the Bay Area continue to face serious challenges around housing supply and affordability, homelessness and displacement, and the question of how to ensure broad and equitable economic development.

On March 12th, the Berkeley Opportunity Lab is excited to host an afternoon of talks and discussion aimed at generating new insights and solutions in these areas. The convening – California Housing and Homelessness in a post-COVID Economy: Lessons from Research and Practice – will bring together Berkeley’s world-class faculty, California and Bay Area elected officials, practitioners, policy analysts, and journalists in order to share insights and strategies for effective local and regional development and poverty alleviation.
