The CEGA-managed Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences (BITSS) held its 10th Annual Meeting on February 10-11, 2022.
The BITSS Annual Meeting brings together actors from academia, scholarly publishing, and policy to share novel research and discuss efforts to improve the credibility of social science by advancing research transparency, reproducibility, rigor, and ethics. The program featured presentations of meta-scientific work selected from the Call for Papers.
This year’s keynote address was given by 2021 Nobel Laureate David Card (UC Berkeley) on Feb. 10, who discussed credibility, transparency, and replicability in empirical research, in conversation with Ted Miguel.
