2019 BRAC-CEGA Travel Grants

Description:

The BRAC-CEGA Learning Collaborative (BCLC) is now accepting expressions of interest (EOI) from CEGA affiliates & their PhD students for travel grants to BRAC International countries (Tanzania, Uganda, Liberia, South Sudan, Sierra Leone, and Afghanistan) to explore new research ideas with BRAC research and program counterparts.

Deadline: 11:59 pm U.S. Pacific Time on October 13, 2019

Eligibility Criteria:

CEGA affiliates and PhD students with CEGA affiliate sponsorship.

Process:

Please read through the travel grant announcement which includes a list of BRAC projects to develop research questions around, and submit your EOI by October 13, 2019. After EOI submission, researchers will be invited to have a call with BRAC to discuss potential research ideas and see if there is mutual interest.

If a viable partnership/project is established through the call(s), you will be invited to submit a short proposal and budget for a travel grant of up to $6,000 USD. Costs can cover flights, accommodation, an in-country stipend, as well as survey costs.
