Yu (Jennie) Zheng

Yu (Jennie) Zheng is an Associate Specialist at the UC Berkeley Center for Effective Global Action and a Privacy Engineer of the Data Privacy Lab. Prior to this, she worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at UC Irvine. Before that, she earned her Ph.D. in Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2024. Her research focuses on the intersection of privacy-enhancing technologies and artificial intelligence, with an emphasis on developing efficient solutions for privacy-preserving AI and secure computation.
