Youg Sangvhi

Predoctoral Fellow

Youg is a predoctoral fellow at CEGA working with Dr. Tamma Carleton on a variety of research projects at the intersection of development and environmental economics. He grew up in India and came to the US to attend the University of Southern California for his bachelors in Economics. During college, he did research across behavioral economics, environmental economics, trade economics, and developmental economics at USC and graduated in May 2025. He is extremely passionate about inequality, poverty, and climate change research, and hopes to continue exploring these areas in grad school after his time at CEGA.
