Yang-Yang Zhou
Yang-Yang Zhou is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of British Columbia and a 2021-2023 Harvard Academy Scholar and a CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholar. She studies the causes and consequences of forced migration in the Global South, with a focus on conflict, development, and national identity. Her research uses quantitative and qualitative methods, GIS analysis, surveys, and field experiments. Her projects span East Africa, Central Asia, and South America. Her work has been published in the American Political Science Review and the Journal of the American Statistical Association.
