Werner Maokola

​Dr. Werner Maokola is a Program Officer with the National AIDS Control Program (NACP) in the Ministry of Health Tanzania. Prior to joining NACP, Dr. Maokola worked with Ifakara Health Institute in Tanzania as a Research Scientist in clinical trials and implementation science projects. He holds a Doctor of Medicine Degree from University of Dar es Salaam Tanzania (2000) and a Master of Science Degree in Tropical Medicine from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine UK (2008). He is currently a PhD candidate at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College Tanzania focusing on the evaluation of public health interventions.
