Solène Delecourt

Solène Delecourt is an Assistant Professor at UC Berkeley in Management of Organizations (Haas School of Business). She holds a PhD from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, as well as a Masters in Economics and Public Policy from Sciences Po Paris and École Polytechnique.

She studies inequality in business performance using field experiments and novel survey data, with a focus on gender. Most of her work examines small-scale entrepreneurs in emerging economies. Her research agenda focuses on what drives variation in profits across firms and how we could reduce inequality in business performance among entrepreneurs in different market settings, including India and Uganda.
