Shibiru Melesse

Assistant Professor, Adama Science and Technology University

Shibiru Ayalew Melesse is an Assistant Professor at Adama Science and Technology University in Ethiopia and a 2017 CEGA Fellow. His research interests include financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, gender, and team effectiveness. He has conducted impact evaluations and large-scale field research and has worked with policymakers and institutions, including the Ethiopian Investment Commission, Oromia Science and Technology Authority, and the Ministry of Agriculture. Previously, he was a research fellow at the University of Applied Sciences (HTW) Berlin in Germany. Melesse holds a Ph.D. in Technology and Innovation Management, an M.B.A., and a B.A. in Business Management.
