Radhika Shah
Co-President of Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs
Radhika is Co-President of Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs. She is an angel/impact tech investor, passionate about civic engagement, community building & transformative social change. She is an advisor to the Sustainable Development Goals Philanthropy Platform, Founding Chair of Tech Advisory Group and a Fellow at The Stanford Handa Center. She sits on the International Advisory Network for The Business and Human Rights Resource Center (BHRRC) and is a Founding member of the Tech Advisory board for BHRRC.
She has been an advisor, mentor, judge at Accelerators Startx(Stanford) & Skydeck Labs(Berkeley), Impact Experience and Illumen Capital a Fund of Impact Funds reducing Implicit Biases and a founding volunteer of the silicon valley based mentoring group RajeevCircle.org. She has also recently joined the board of the Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA) at U.C Berkeley, an organization that brings mission driven academics from across departments and from the top US West Coast Universities together to work with Governments, NGOs around the world for evidence-based research/action to reduce poverty.
Growing up under influence of Gandhian philosophy in India, she cares about women’s empowerment, education, social justice and the environment and is deeply committed to help build bridges to help advance the SDGs. Radhika co-founded former Ashoka SV chapter, is on Action for India SV Leadership Council, and advises the social entrepreneur lead non-profits Healing Fields, CGNetSwara.org, Samasource.org.
She has been a speaker/co-convener at Stanford, Berkeley, National Academy of Sciences, United Nations, UN Solutions Summit on the topics of entrepreneurship, investment, technology innovation, SDGs, and is part of new Technology for Development study group at the Washington DC based policy think tank Center for Global Development.
Radhika holds a Masters in Computer Science from Stanford University and an MBA from U.C. Berkeley.
