Nancy Padian

Nancy Padian is an Adjunct Professor at the University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health. She is the senior director of prevention at the Pangaea Global AIDS Foundation. Padian’s work bridges the gap between traditional infectious disease epidemiology and the broader context of women’s reproductive health. Her research focuses on developing and evaluating female-controlled methods for disease prevention, along with alternative strategies for fostering young women’s economic independence.
