Moussa Bagayoko
Dr. Moussa Bagayoko is a Programme Specialist in Monitoring & Evaluation at the P4 level at UNFPA based in Dakar, Senegal. He leads the research and evaluation efforts for the Sahel Women Economic Empowerment regional program, which spans across 12 countries in West and Central Africa. Previously, he served as an Associate Research Scientist at the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), Nairobi, Kenya. He holds a PhD in Public Health Programs Evaluation from the School of Advanced Studies in Public Health, in Mali, jointly with the University of Bordeaux, France. He has a long record of applying Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and large-scale program evaluation. Dr. Bagayoko is interested in evaluating the effectiveness of public health interventions, and health incentive programs in Africa that emphasize the use of impact evaluation techniques and cost evidence to generate evidence-relevant policy implications.
