Michael Mbate
Research Fellow, NIERA
Michael Mbate is a Research Fellow with NIERA and holds a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE). Michael currently works at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, where he specializes in public finance and governance, with a focus on public spending, fiscal decentralization, service delivery and accountability in developing countries. He has previously worked with different institutions such as the Overseas Development Institute, United Nations Industrial Development Organization and the African Union.
