Melanie Morten

Melanie Morten is a development economist interested in how households respond to risk in developing countries, including using short term and temporary migration. She received her PhD from Yale in May 2013 and was a post-doctoral fellow at the Minneapolis Federal Reserve. Currently. Morten is an Associate Professor at Stanford’s Department of Economics.
