Maya Ranganath
Director of Policy and Inclusion
Maya leads CEGA’s policy impact and Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) strategies; provides high-level oversight of CEGA’s Global Networks, Psychology and Economics of Poverty, and Forced Displacement initiatives; and contributes to the overall direction of CEGA as a part of the leadership team. She previously worked as a Research Associate for J-PAL South Asia; conducting fieldwork and analysis for an agricultural RCT in Gujarat, and later supporting the early stages of J-PAL’s first-ever partnership with a state government (Government of Tamil Nadu). She has also worked as a Research Assistant for Women in Cities International, on a project to increase adolescent girls’ safety and inclusion in five cities. Maya holds an MA in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a BA in International Development from McGill University.
