Maria Carreri

Maria Carreri is Assistant Professor at the UCSD School of Global Policy and Strategy. She is a political scientist, studying Political Economy and Urban Politics with a focus on Italy, Colombia, and the United States of America.  She is the recipient of the Susan Clarke Young Scholar Award from the APSA Urban Politics Section.
She obtained her Ph.D. from New York University’s Department of Politics and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Kellogg School of Management.
