Jayne Tusiime
Jayne Tusiime is an Epidemiologist with a pharmaceutical background and heads the Department of Public Health at Soroti University, Soroti, Uganda. She holds a PhD in Epidemiology from UC Berkeley. She has over 15 years’ experience in public health research, particularly in HIV/AIDS and maternal and child health, and monitoring and evaluation of health programs. She is currently a Public Health/M&E Expert for the Local Fund Agent that supports the Malawi Global Fund Portfolio. As a University Professor she trains students in research methodology and the science and methods of Monitoring & Evaluation, with a focus on Impact Evaluations. Tusiime is an Open Science Framework (OSF) Ambassador and a Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences (BITSS) Catalyst.
