James Mukoki

James Mukoki is an Assistant Lecturer and researcher in the Department of Planning and Applied statistics (PAS) at Makerere University, Uganda. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the School of Economics at the same University, working on the thesis topic “ Inter-sectoral Linkages, Unemployment, and Economic Growth in Uganda.” His research interest lies in public sector economics, Labor economics, Health Economics, and Development economics. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Economics from Makerere University in 2013 and MA. Economics from the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania in 2015. While at CEGA he intends to evaluate the impact of the refugee influx on welfare in Northern Uganda.
