Isaac Doku

Isaac Doku is a lecturer and economist at the University of Education, Winneba. He holds a Ph.D in Economics from Nelson Mandela University in South Africa where as a student and post-doctoral scholar, he researched how climate finance influences food security and environmental quality in Sub-Saharan Africa. Isaac is a J-PAL African scholar, a Development Impact West Africa (DIWA) affiliate, and is currently serving as the Principal Investigator (PI) and CO-PI on two DIWA-financed projects on how environmental, health, and safety sensitization influence cookstove usage in Ghana and the testing of willingness to pay for solar lanterns in Ghana. His research interests lie at the intersection between environment, energy, and development economics.
