Fola Aina

Dr. Fola Aina is a Political Scientist whose research is at the intersection of security and development. He completed a second Masters’ degree in African Studies, at the African
Studies Centre, University of Oxford, United Kingdom, having earlier obtained a master’s degree in international development policy from Seoul National University, South Korea. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. He obtained his PhD in Leadership Studies, with reference to security and development at the King’s College London, United Kingdom. His research interests include fragile, and conflict affected settings, economic development, political economy, governance, and public policy. A recipient of multiple awards, including the General Cissè Lamine Young African Researcher Award, by Partners Global. His works have been published in reputable international journals such as African Security, Democracy and Security, and Peace Review, amongst others.
