Fola Aina

Dr. Fola Aina is a Political Scientist and a lecturer at SOAS University of London. His research interests include fragile, and conflict affected settings, economic development, political economy, governance, and public policy.

He holds a PhD in Leadership Studies, with reference to security and development from the King’s College London, United Kingdom. He holds a Masters in African Studies from the University of Oxford, as well as a Masters in International Development Policy from Seoul National University. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. He is a recipient of multiple awards, including the General Cissè Lamine Young African Researcher Award, by Partners Global. His works have been published in reputable international journals such as African Security, Democracy and Security, and Peace Review, amongst others.
