Eric Brewer

Eric Brewer is a Professor of Computer Science at UC Berkeley. Brewer develops novel technologies for development, including the design of low-cost communications and power infrastructure for the rural poor. The World Economic Forum named Eric a “Global Leader for Tomorrow” and Technology Review has cited him as one of the top 100 most influential people for the 21st century. He is currently involved in the rigorous evaluation of solar microgrid deployments in East Africa and India.
