David Lobell

David Lobell is a Professor at Stanford University in the Department of Earth System Science and the Gloria and Richard Kushel Director of the Center on Food Security and the Environment. His research focuses on identifying opportunities to raise crop yields in major agricultural regions, with a particular emphasis on adaptation to climate change. He is the lead author on the “Food Production Systems and Food Security” chapter of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Fifth Assessment Report.
