Constantine Manda
Constantine Manda is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of California, Irvine. Constantine Manda has a PhD in Political Science from Yale University. He is also co-founder & inaugural Director of the Impact Evaluation Lab at Tanzania’s Economic & Social Research Foundation (ESRF). Previously, he was the Senior Research Analyst at Twaweza, where he managed randomized controlled trials in education. He holds a Master in Public Policy from the University of Chicago. Constantine is currently working on a paper that shows that pre-colonial political institutions and missionary exposure matter for contemporary religiosity and syncretism among Africans today, which also affects but political attitudes and behaviors.
