Collins Munyendo

Collins Munyendo is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Center for Effective Global Action at the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on human-centered security and privacy, broadly defined. He uses computational and social science methods to understand and improve the security, privacy, and safety for diverse users globally. His recent work has focused on usable authentication, harms of emerging technologies, and the security and privacy needs of underserved users worldwide. His research has been recognized with several awards, including multiple best paper awards. Previously, he obtained his PhD in Computer Science from the George Washington University.
