Caroline Sitienei Koech has a PhD in Business Management with a focus on strategic management and masters in Human Resource Development from Moi University. She is a senior lecturer at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology. Her research lies at the interplay of human capital development, organizational strategy, and firm performance in addressing the pressing challenge of poverty. Her primary focus is on understanding the constraints, and disparities in business outcomes of micro-enterprises, and the potential opportunities for enhancing their productivity, profitability, and growth. She focuses on testing the effectiveness of interventions tailored to reduce inequalities in business outcomes using RCT design with mixed methods approach.
