Carlos Schmidt-Padilla

Carlos Schmidt-Padilla is an Assistant Professor at the Goldman School of Public Policy, UC Berkeley. Broadly, his research interests encompass the political economy of development of Latin America and the Caribbean. In particular, he studies questions concerning crime, human capital, migration, and policing.
