Brad Sagara

Brad is a Research Project Manager, supporting the Data Privacy Lab, which explores how privacy-enhancing technologies can enable data sharing, research, and innovation in low- and middle-income countries. Prior to joining CEGA, Brad spent two decades leading quantitative research focusing on resilience, food security, and livelihoods throughout sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. In his previous role as Director for Research and Learning at Mercy Corps, he led USAID and Gates Foundation funded awards focused on advancing methods for monitoring and evaluating climate resilience, food security and agriculture. He holds a Master’s in Development Practice from UC Berkeley.
