Arnold Musungu
Arnold Musungu is currently serving as a Junior Researcher and a PhD candidate in Development Economics at the Center for Development Research (ZEF), University of Bonn, Germany. His doctoral research investigates the impact of climate shocks on labor reallocation, migration, and structural transformation in Africa.
Before this, he worked as a research assistant for Prof. Elizabeth Lyons at the School of Global Policy and Strategy, University of California, San Diego. Additionally, he was an African Open Data Fellow at the Local Development Research Institute in Nairobi, Kenya. He holds an MSc in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. His research interests span education, labor, health, agriculture, migration, and climate change, with a particular emphasis on sub-Saharan Africa.
