
Arnold Musungu
Arnold Musungu holds a PhD in Development Economics at the Center for Development Research (ZEF), University of Bonn, Germany. His doctoral research investigated the impact of climate shocks on labor reallocation, migration, and structural transformation in Africa.
Previously, he held positions at World Bank and the British High Commission in Nairobi. He has also worked as a research assistant for Prof. Elizabeth Lyons at the School of Global Policy and Strategy, University of California, San Diego. Additionally, he was an African Open Data Fellow at the Local Development Research Institute in Nairobi, Kenya. He holds an MSc in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. His research interests span education, labor, health, agriculture, migration, and climate change, with a particular emphasis on sub-Saharan Africa.
