Anushay Farooqi

Anushay is the Communications Intern at CEGA, supporting social media and event coordination. Prior to joining CEGA, she worked at a Denver-based nonprofit providing leadership development programs to youth of color, where she assisted with fundraising, event planning, and donor relations. She has also interned in the office of Congressman Joe Neguse, where she supported legislative research and external relations.

Anushay holds a BA from the University of Colorado Boulder with a minor in Leadership Studies. She is passionate about all things international development and is particularly interested in advancing gender justice in development.
