Alix Schoback
Program Associate
Alix earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Economics and Policy and Political Science from UC Berkeley. She authored her thesis on the political economy of firm-perceived risk from climate change, earning departmental honors. Prior to joining CEGA, Alix worked as a research assistant at Berkeley, studying issues including fossil fuel divestment, welfare implications of ballot initiatives, and climate policy stringency. Her communications experience stems from prior work on campaigns and environmental nonprofits. Both at CEGA and in the future, she hopes to use her backgrounds in research and communications to forward research transparency, accessibility, and efficacy.
