Alex Reep
Agriculture Intern
Alex supports agricultural sector work at CEGA which includes the Agricultural Technology Adoption Initiative (ATAI) and the Digital Agricultural Innovations and Services Initiative (DAISI).
Prior to joining CEGA, Alex was a border rights activist and worked with migrants to develop a community garden at a refugee shelter in Tijuana, Mexico while earning a BA in Urban Planning and a BS in Environmental Systems from UC San Diego.
Alex is a current UC Berkeley Master of Development Practice candidate, UC Global Food Initiative Global Fellow for Agricultural Development, and food systems researcher with the International Center for Tropical Agriculture in Colombia.
