Abebe Ayana

Abebe Ayana is a researcher at the Policy Studies Institute in Ethiopia. He holds a doctoral degree in development economics from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies in Japan. Prior to his current role, he served as a faculty member at Haramaya University and worked as a short-term consultant for the World Bank.

His research focuses on development economics, particularly in the areas of labor markets, entrepreneurship, trade and industrial policy, and the livelihoods of internally displaced persons.
