AI Policy

At CEGA, we value authenticity, transparency, and integrity throughout our selection process. We want to see your unique skills, experiences, and personality shine through. While AI tools can be helpful resources, submitted materials must ultimately reflect the applicant’s own ideas, analysis, and voice. CEGA will disqualify applications that appear to have been substantially generated by AI with limited original contribution from the applicant.

To guide you on the thoughtful and acceptable use of AI during your application journey, please adhere to the following parameters:

  • Application Materials: You must create the initial draft of your resume and cover letter entirely yourself. You are welcome to use AI to refine phrasing, proofread, or check grammar, but do not let AI write your materials from scratch.
  • Technical Assessments: Take-home technical assessments must be completed entirely without AI assistance, unless explicitly noted otherwise in the assignment instructions. We want to fairly evaluate your independent problem-solving abilities.
  • Interview Preparation: You are highly encouraged to use AI to research our organization, generate mock interview questions, and practice your delivery.
  • Interview Content: For full-time staff roles, we share interview questions ahead of time. While you can use AI to brainstorm talking points, your final answers must reflect your unique experiences and background.
  • Live Interviews: During the live interview, the use of real-time AI assistance and/or live prompting is strictly prohibited. We want to see your personality shine!
