Annual Meeting of the Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences (BITSS)
The 15th BITSS Annual Meeting will take place on Friday, February 26, 2027 at UC Berkeley. The Annual Meeting brings together actors from academia, scholarly publishing, and policy to share novel research and discuss efforts to improve the credibility of scientific research by advancing transparency, reproducibility, rigor, and ethics.
Call for Speakers
The call for speakers is now open until November 1, 2026. Please follow this link to apply. We welcome submissions related to research transparency, reproducibility, metascience, new research tools and methods, research ethics, and scholarly publishing. Last year’s conference featured a morning session on “Frontiers on AI and Open Science” and we are interested in further discussion of how AI is being used in research.
