Manual of Best Practices in Transparent Social Science Research

This manual is a detailed hands-on summary of best practices and tools for transparent quantitative social science research. The intention is to write and maintain a guide or reference volume of best practices for transparent quantitative social science research, updating it as new tools and resources become available.

Topics covered span through the entire research cycle, from beginning (study design, registration) to end (publication, data sharing). The Manual forms the base for training delivered by BITSS, and it is continuously updated with new tools and resources as they become available. Find the complete manual on GitHub. A slide deck summarizing some of the major points addressed in the Manual is available in this GitHub repository.
