Scale and Impact Through BRAC's Holistic Approach: Learning from the World's Largest NGO

BRAC is the world’s largest development NGO, serving 138 million people in 10 countries in South Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean.  On Wednesday, April 4th, Berkeley hosted BRAC's Executive Director, Dr. Mahabub Hossain, for a conversation about the NGO's history, philosophy, and social impact.

BRAC was founded in Bangladesh in the 1970s and strives to alleviate poverty and empower communities through a holistic model incorporating microfinance, community health, education, agriculture, governance, and gender equity initiatives. To learn more about BRAC, visit http://www.brac.net.
