Collaborate

Development Organizations

We partner with public and private sector organizations implementing social development programs in low-income countries.

CEGA researchers identify the components of complex interventions that are most effective, resulting in recommendations for improving programs and policies. The Center also assesses cost-benefit structure and promotes learning within organizations, in part through training for professionals in results-based management and impact evaluation.

Researchers

Investigators interested in partnering with CEGA to design and test novel development interventions (including new technologies and products) may email cega [at] berkeley.edu.

Current partners at UC Berkeley include IT and computer scientists, civil engineers, education researchers, environmental scientists, and policy researchers. CEGA faculty members work with academic partners to assess impact, identify effective dissemination and marketing techniques for new technologies, and develop strategies for promoting techology adoption and policy change in low-resource settings.
